ARF is a non-profit organization and receives no local or state funding. ARF depends on donors to rescue and find homes for animals, and to develop innovative ways to bring the healing touch of animals to people in need.
Below are some examples of how your donation helps ARF accomplish this life-saving work:
Protects one animal from disease with vaccinations
Feeds one shelter guest for their entire stay
Brings comfort to people in need with one Pet Hug Pack visit
Provides supplies for the complete care of one shelter guest from rescue to adoption
Conducts necessary blood work for one senior shelter guest
Prevents more unwanted litters by spaying or neutering one dog
Teaches public school children compassion for animals with one day of ARF All Stars® humane education
Provides complete medical care for one shelter guest from rescue to adoption
Covers one week of transportation cost (gas, maintenance, and insurance) to rescue animals from public shelters
One month supply of specially prescribed food for shelter animals
One month supply of protective clothing for staff to ensure proper handling for infectious diseases
Keeps the shelter clean and free of disease with a one-month supply of disinfectant for entire shelter
Covers costs for one day of Pit bull, Chihuahua, or low-income spay/neuter surgeries at ARF's clinic
