Support Hurricane Irma Evacuees

ARF partnered with the Humane Society of Broward County to ensure the safety and care of hundreds of animal evacuees fleeing Hurricane Irma.

ARF, along with partners from the East Bay SPCA and Berkeley Humane received a cross-country flight filled with animals evacuated from Humane Society of Broward County. The approximately 150 dogs and cats, previously up for adoption at the Ft. Lauderdale facility, were evacuated on a Wings of Rescue flight funded by ARF with help from Freekibble and GreaterGood.org.

Those looking to help may do so by adopting or contributing to transport, care, and placement costs. More information on our Irma rescue effort can be found on our news release.
