I'm Yeti, Adopt Me!
German Shepherd Dog Mix | Young | Male

One-year-old Yeti is a handsome young chap who’s looking for a special new home! He already knows a trick or two, and he’ll do just about anything for a tasty piece of cheese! Yeti would prefer to be the only dog in the home, and would especially like to find a guardian who won’t mind it when he suddenly decides to lean his entire body weight into them for one of his patented side hugs! This sweet boy might take a moment to warm up to new friends, but those who take the time to encourage him will meet the REAL Yeti – a dog who’s clever, active, affectionate, and fun! He loves the great outdoors and would make a fantastic hiking partner or jogging buddy. To help Yeti put his best paw forward, his adoption includes a gift certificate for ARF's award winning training program. Yeti prefers a home without children younger than 16 years old. He currently weighs 73 pounds.

All dogs benefit from training! ARF was named 'Best in the East Bay for Dog Training' in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 by Diablo Magazine. All adopters receive a $50 discount off their first class.

Yeti is this week's Spotlight Pet!

Yeti's adopter must be at least 18 years old with valid state-issued identification. ARF encourages family members to participate in the adoption process, especially children and family dogs. Please visit ARF's web site for information on adoption and to view more cute canines.
